VP85 SPECIFICATIONS

MICROPHONE:

Professional quality, cardioid electret microphone, for use with either 17" flexible gooseneck or 16' cord.

AMPLIFIERS:

Distributed Power: Three separate power amplifiers

Power Output: 21 watts total; 7 watts per amplifier (RMS)

Distortion: Less than 1% over full voice frequency range

SPEAKER SYSTEM:

High efficiency, full range 8" cone speaker mounted in sealed enclosure. Special 2 Ohm voice coil with a 2 pound

magnet assembly.

POWER SOURCE:

Rechargeable 12 volt, 8 amp hour self-contained battery pack provides 12 hours of operation at normal sound levels

with lamp operation, or up to 40 hours without lamp. UL and CSA approved CH-40 charger recharges batteries in 24

hours from full discharge or provides continuous operation from any 110/120V AC outlet.

LAMP:

Long-life incandescent lamp with focused reflector.

CONTROLS:

1) Three position power OFF-ON-LAMP switch with red LED power-on indicator

2) Main microphone volume control

3) Auxiliary microphone/hi-level input volume control

4) Bass tone control

5) Treble tone control

MIXER INPUTS:

1) Two shock mounted main microphone inputs-1/4" phone jacks

2) Auxiliary microphone input - 1/4" phone jack

CONSTRUCTION:

Walnut grain vinyl finished cabinet with mitre-folded and braced construction. Sides are carpeted 5/8" void-free

plywood and edges are protected with bumper guard moldings. The optional S-85 folding floor stand is fully carpeted

to match the lectern.
