Control System Interconnections

In addition to a Windows

based computer system, DM

processors can be controlled by external serial control

system using the RS-232 interface, such as those from

Crestron

and AMX

RS-232 Port

USB Port

WARNING: Do not use the BLACK cable for

Crestron or AMX connections. It is strictly for

use with a Windows

based computer system

and will NOT work with Crestron or AMX.

Two RS-232 serial cables are provided.

The cable with the BLACK TRS connector is an RS-

232 cable wired for use with a laptop computer system.

Black cable for

computer connection

The cable with the RED TRS connector is designed

to be used with a control system such as those from

Crestron

or AMX

Crestron control systems
